Someone has been stealing apples. Hmmmm. I wonder who it could be, don't you?
OOPS! I think I'm getting a tad to close for this critter's comfort. He doesn't look very happy about me creeping up on him, does he?

Nice squirrel. They do love apples. And will eat them sliced if you want to take the time to do that.
ReplyDeleteHow great! I've never seen a squirrel eating apples. Maybe that is why my squirrels aren't coming to the feeders right now....I need to go pick a few of my apples and leave them nearby.

Great capture!
Wonderful captures! My younger daughter captured a young squirrel that had been injured many years ago...it became gentle practically over night, and loved my husband better than anyone. The first time we had apple pie, he was sitting in the recliner with the squirrel while having his pie; she almost dug it out of his mouth. So we got a paper plate and gave her a small bite and I swear she sounded like a little pig eating it.
ReplyDeleteAbout the weight of the boat breaking the ice--I don't know if he meant all icebreakers work that way or not. I assumed he did, but you know he might not have meant that at all. He could have been referring to the Mackinaw only.
ReplyDeletep.s.--I was just like you--didn't know it was the weight that broke the ice.
