Someone has been stealing apples. Hmmmm. I wonder who it could be, don't you?
OOPS! I think I'm getting a tad to close for this critter's comfort. He doesn't look very happy about me creeping up on him, does he?

Nice squirrel. They do love apples. And will eat them sliced if you want to take the time to do that.
How great! I've never seen a squirrel eating apples. Maybe that is why my squirrels aren't coming to the feeders right now....I need to go pick a few of my apples and leave them nearby.
Wow, nice shot, I had no idea they loved apples, i could imagine they eat it,, but though they will always go for nuts and hards shellf stuff to sharpen their theeth??...mm nice shot!
YEP! I think you captured the varmint. Nice shot, I could never get that close. MB
Got caught, didn't he? They loved our plums.
Great photos! Beautiful sky watch too :)
wow, nice close ups!
Wonderful photos!
These are great shots! I can't imagine who's been stealing the apples...
Wow, great shots! So close!
what a pleasure to have squirrels and so nearby, it must be so much fun photographing them. Enjoy !
He's cute those nuts sure look tasty.
Cute shot! Our squirrels love the guavas on our tree. They get drunk!
Looks like he's making short work of that nut! Nice shots.
Wonderful close-ups of the squirrel! (Yes, he does look a tad bit upset in the second photo... lol!)
He looks like he's enjoying his snack. Cute picture!
This is the best photo of a squirrel I've seen today! Brilliant!
I didn't know that they will eat apples...So cute..
I love this image. Those little claws are so cool clinging to the tree and the apple.
That second image looks like he stopped and said What?
Great capture!
Wonderful captures! My younger daughter captured a young squirrel that had been injured many years ago...it became gentle practically over night, and loved my husband better than anyone. The first time we had apple pie, he was sitting in the recliner with the squirrel while having his pie; she almost dug it out of his mouth. So we got a paper plate and gave her a small bite and I swear she sounded like a little pig eating it.
About the weight of the boat breaking the ice--I don't know if he meant all icebreakers work that way or not. I assumed he did, but you know he might not have meant that at all. He could have been referring to the Mackinaw only.
p.s.--I was just like you--didn't know it was the weight that broke the ice.
Most excellent photo! I love to watch these little critters.
wonderful shots of the squirrel
Brilliant pictures.
Impressive close up captures!
What a wonderful shot! So special for me as more than half my heart is still in the northern hemisphere
and air travel is not adviseable.
So thank you for letting me experience it through your eyes.
We have lots of apples this year, but no squirrels to eat them. Cute critter!
I think the second photo should have the caption "Don't even think about it". You are Not Getting his apple, LOL!
Darla
