Pretty cold to be "dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh" round a practice track in this sort of weather.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! Great captures.
ReplyDeleteAs usual I just love the photos you show us! These are great! Nothing I'd see along a road here...
ReplyDeleteHappy Ruby to you!
Wow! That was so nice of him to dress up in red just for us. Great show of red, on him and the horse.
ReplyDeleteNice catch! Red stands out!
ReplyDeleteNice ones! I do like the little red touch that also the horse sports:)
ReplyDeleteThis horse looks like he need no red to fight.
ReplyDeleteThe jockey is stylishly red against he white landscape.

Nice trotter, practicing for the harness racing track. I don't bet, but to be at a track working a horse and driver working as a true team, that is always worth watching!
ReplyDeleteA great choice of the red jacket on what must be a cold ride! Happy Ruby Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteVery great shots in these!
ReplyDeleteMy Ruby Tuesday entries are posted here and here. Happy Tuesday!
What a beautiful photo! You've captured the movement and grace of horse and rider beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThe red pops!
ReplyDeleteawesome!!! I never get to see this in real life. Nope, never. Thanks, I love the nice red warm jacket.
ReplyDeleteThat is really a cool image. It just wouldn't have been the same without the red jacket.
ReplyDeleteThis is your best ever! How many times have I said that? lol. I love the action in the pictures and of course the snow and the red jacket.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love this.....it stands out like WOW!
ReplyDeleteOh I love it. Everything about this picture is just perfect. How lucky you are to see things like this. MB

Great shot.
ReplyDeleteI like how the first photo is almost entirely black & white other than the red jacket!
ReplyDeleteEllen said it. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great. I admire a guy who would get out in what looks like very cold weather and you for getting out there to take the photos.
The first one is my favourite, I love the movement in that picture! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI used to drive past this farm every Saturday morning, and its nice to know they are still there. I expect they're getting ready for Mohawk Raceways.
ReplyDeleteThat red jacket really pops against the snow. Nice catch.
ReplyDeleteBoth wearing red and both looking as though they're having some cold fun :)
ReplyDeleteA splash of colour in the winter white country.
ReplyDeleteI guess you probably saw my horse racing photos like these on my blog. I have not seen them in the snow before but they do practice in the snow here too.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a wonderful shot to capture. It looks like those two are having fun in the chill! Great RT images.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Love it! That looks like fun, if a bit cold.
ReplyDeleteGreat "action" shot!
ReplyDeleteI left comments ont he two below that I had missed because I ahve been playing in the snow too!
What a gorgeous animal! I love the way the horse contrasts with the white background. Really awesome (if a little chilly!)
ReplyDeleteThe look like they are enjoying themselves - especially in that second photo.
