Old Field Rake/ Sepia Scenes

Old rake at the Uxbridge-Scott Museum

I took this photo yesterday -- through the museum fence -- because I liked the shadows on the snow. (YAY! The sun was out!) I was also attracted by the rake's metal wheels and the curved tines.

  10. I was wanting to search through my files for something similiar to this...believe it or not, we had one of these hay rakes when I was a kid. And no I am not that old...I hope Neal sees this.

    PS Thank you for the comments. No.3 is also my favourite, but I'm not satisfied with the conversion and may work more on it.

  22. This brings back mnay memories of my early years on the farm when it was haying season and my grandfather would hitch up the horses to the hay rake. Wonderful sepia and shadows.s
