Having a friendly chat over the fence
Such lovely report, the two of us enjoying the late February sunshine together. The bovine was all ears, enthralled by everything I said.
But look at those nosy neighbours in the background eavesdropping!

Hi! It's nice to have someone's undivided attention. And she/he has such wonderful eyes.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have time, stop by my place. I have something for you. Lisa
I've *always* been captivated by your every word, so I can understand how the cow feels! :)
ReplyDeleteYour friend is wearing a lovely furry coat to keep warm!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful to have someone who is 'all ears' as it were.

Having a nice chat over the fence reminds me of Wilma Flintstone and Betty Rubble. :)

ReplyDeleteHave you seen those commercials on TV w/ the cows talking about being a California cow? Every time I see cows now, that's what I think of!!! hehehehe
ReplyDeleteI love wolly cattle! This one is really posing!
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty red coat!
ReplyDeleteShe is lovely. I guess cows out there are so nourished and so fluffy. Ours here are thin and sort of has only short hairs. :) And yeah, she is so attentive to what ur telling her.
ReplyDeleteCome by to meet my Hogan!
Beautiful cow EG. I love cows. They have such a sweet breath!.
ReplyDeleteB.
I like this youngster. Curious like all young ones. Hard to accept that he will end up on a McDonald's hamburger bun. Maybe not.
ReplyDeleteThese look good beef cattle.... and their coat looks very warm..
ReplyDeleteI love it! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteAre you a cow whisperer?

ReplyDeleteThis is a great photo. You almost want to touch the fur, so soft it looks. Scrolled down your blog and you have some wonderful pictures! Really enjoyed it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWow---you have alot of talents. Talking 'cow talk' is a real gift... AND---I'll bet that cow is really listening--as opposed to many of us humans.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteHe's adorable, I've never been that near to a bovine. Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteLOL aint it great to have such a great listener. What a great picture. =)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. I like the subject and the atmosphere that the photograph portrays.
ReplyDeleteIn reference to you question about the elk: Their hair has excellent insulating qualities and they spend as much time as possible in areas sheltered from the wind. They also prefer sunny areas when possible. All in all they do not seem to suffer from the cold.
ReplyDeleteOoh, he/she looks so soft & wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like that oen in the back is jealous and going to check out what is ahppening. lol Did it ever get to the fence?
ReplyDeleteLOVE this picture.. great colors and cows are my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteshe has a kind face, the other two are just jealous of her :)
