Dontcha just love a purple house. Oh yes!!! Great shots even with icicles.
Today and all weekend is the Tulip festival Street Fair in Mount Vernon (about 30min. away from me) and of course it is raining but nasty . The tulips aren't even up this year because of the wet and cold weather. Every year something different. So i will look for PURPLE tulips for you. MB
I love the purple and the icicles in the first shot and the royal purple house is quite beautiful. I don't think I'd be brave enough for a purple house but it's fun when someone else does it.
Love those purple featured archways over the windows! Most unusual! And the purple house still manages to look amazingly subdued and quite lovely! Great shots!
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.

Great photos for the theme. Icicles - I hope they're gone soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the purple. Don't think I'd have the courage to use it though.
ReplyDeleteI see purple, I see purple in that pretty little purple house.
ReplyDeleteNice entry.

ReplyDeleteLovely buildings allthough I've never really seen a house that dark purple before. I see you still have icicles there in the first shot.
ReplyDeleteI've got a little challenge for you in my blog if you have the time and are interested.
I haven't seen many purple houses, very unique--the icicles look like frosting hanging from a gingerbread house
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the first shot with all the great trim and those melting icicles dripping.
ReplyDeleteThe icicles are gone right?
Colorful houses are a joy to look at and purple is a delightful color...your photos, of course, are high art!
ReplyDeleteBut...do I see snow and icicles? Yikes!
Really cool EG. ou don't see much purple in houses.

It is the first time for everything - and this is the first time I have seen a purple house! Nice!
ReplyDeleteIcicles now!? Brrr....they are gone in Oslo! :)
GREAT photo. I just love beautiful architecture. And purple houses!
ReplyDeleteI did purple, too. I hope you have time to see! http://newyorktraveler.net/photo-hunters-purple/
I've been noticing brickwork like that while driving my bus route- not purple like in your photo, but still very neat and creative.

Very nice. After having our house painted pale pink, I can imagine a purple one being very beautiful. These certainly are. Nice take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteAh elegant looking photo! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love your purple collection!
