Lovely scene, but I think it would be nicer in colour! And I love the trilliums in the previous post. Where did you go to see such a carpet of flowers?
When I saw the thumbnail of this shot in my sidebar blogroll I thought it was snow. Very nice b&w! I enjoyed your Camera Critter post also, he is a devilish looking little critter :)
This really works for me in black and white. A very familiar scene in my neck of the woods, as well. I know that a barn is red, I pass by not less than 8 on my commute to work each day!
Me too! I mean -- I want to see the comparisons. This is very interesting shot with the barn and trees. . . I would never have tought to do it as monochrome. . .
These were in Whitchurch=Stouffville...Ballantrae, actually. But there are masses like these in the York Regional Forest, Durham Regional Forest, northern East Gwillimbury...anywhere there are undisturbed deciduous forests.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.

I have visions of cider dancing through my head.

So beautiful. My immediate thought: I wonder if I'll be eating an apple from one of these trees in the fall?
