In Memory/ Photo Hunter

Birchard Parkette, Mount Albert

On the plaque:

1967
Centennial Project
of the Horticultural Society
and The Women’s Institute
This is the site of the first
schoolhouse built about 1830.
The bell if from the Mount Albert
School erected in 1890.

    Absolutely beautiful monument and bell in a terrific environment of flowering trees and a BENCH too! What else could make it better? Aha! I know, by the beach!!!!!!!!!! lol

    The whole picture is stunning -- forget my beach comment. . .

    A parkette, must mean a small park. It's beautiful!

    The only problem would be if that school bell should ring.

    Would remind me of teaching those
