Exploring Central Ontario (CANADA)...and beyond
So nice. It looks like an old timey postcaed. MB
Sometimes I wish we still travelled as our grandparents did...
I love railway stations. This one is so pretty.
This is such a good, crisp photograph. I love it...I love railroad depots and always wish I could have one to set up as my quilt studio/reading room.
This looks perfect in monochrome. Great capture.
This station is simple and looks very cosy, like those ones we can see in old movies! Fabulous shot!Léia
Lovely scene - on my map Uxbridge is a long way from York and Durham!
Perfect monochrome subject! Just wonderful.
A great choice for a monochrome shot.
I'm guessing that's in Canada? The funny thing is I've just been on a trip to York, but in the UK! :D
That's a charming train station. Looks so well maintained but also old.
I like that a lot!
This is an interesting railway station, I used to live near Uxbridge in UK - nowhere near York or Durham.
Good choice in black and white. You done good!
What an absolutely beautiful old building! I take it this is still in use?And your photo is picture-perfect; terrific contrast; great whites and tack-sharp!I'm impressed!
So much cuteness in such a small building!
I love this shot! So much character.
What a beautiful old station EG. Looks so good in Monochrome.B.
Very nice railroad station. It looks like it's from another time.
Such a crisp and clear photo. Love the rounded front. Nice capture.
Definitely feels of nostalgia. Great shot, as always!
I really love those kind of buildings. Great, clear shot.
A step back in time.
I really like this photo! That station is just perfect for monochrome.
I love everything to do with old railways - it's always nice to see the pretty stations being well looked after :)
I was utterly thrown for a moment... terrific detour that would make. Terrific image too.
Welll they say great minds think alike! Check out mine too!
Beautiful EG! I love railway stations, especially old ones :)Have a great week!Anna
Your black and white treatment is so great on these old buildings.Darla
I bet it looks nicer now than it did when in use!
Oh this is now how I will 'see' British countryside RR stations when I read my mysteries!
The Tones!!!! so perfect!
Lovely looking building, perfect in B&W.
A very neat station - it reminds me of a poem by Edward Thomas - the first to stanzas always made me laugh: Yes. I remember Adlestrop—The name, because one afternoonOf heat the express-train drew up thereUnwontedly. It was late June. The steam hissed. Someone cleared his throat. No one left and no one cameOn the bare platform. What I sawWas Adlestrop—only the name
Magnificent shot of a pretty building!
