  1. The sign looks a bit worn and neglected. I'm certain it wasn't meant for you and your camers.

  2. I guess you were hunting for a red sign and then you were shooting---but---we won't tell.
    Neat shot. MB

  3. The sign doesn't say "No photographing or blogging" so I'd say you're safe! Go for it!

  4. And you haven't gone past the fence, so you are still on government land, so I don't think it applies to you at all!

  5. No, it doesn't mean you...unless, of course, thou are trespassing...in Florida, you do want to obey such signs as you might just run into a redneck with a big shotgun!

    Lovely winter shot, EG!

  6. Did you throw a snowball at that sign?

  7. I am sure the sign means hunters with guns, not cameras! it definitely stands out to be noticed!

  9. Craver expressed exactly the same thought I was thinking. LOL

  10. Who would hunt for other things than photos without permission?
In Norway they pay high prices to go hunting, no catch guaranteed.
Your shot was a tenner, with or without a snowball.

  11. I think someone threw a snowball at that sign in aggression. Then they stomped all over the place.

  12. Well, it didn't say,"No Picture Taking" :D
    Nice take on RT!

  13. You are most welcome to take such a picture. I would guess that your kind of shot is not at all like hunting for game - rubies are quite enough!

  14. As long as you can read the sign, you're on the correct side of the line. Great photo.

  15. Of course not! Of course if there are hunters who would ignore such postings, I hope you're WEARING red (or orange) when you go on these shoots ;-)

  17. What a great Ruby Tuesday find. I don't see any way that sign could apply to you and your family.

  18. Of course it doesn't me you--or me either for that matter! (Even though I understand--don't you get tired of seeing those signs???)

  21. Loved MB's comment!

Since my family and I had a gun drawn on us for looking at a one room schoolhouse my husband had gone to I don't take the chance anymore that it doesn't mean me. ;)

    Happy New Year!

  22. Around here we sometimes see such signs that have been used for target practice. I doubt that you were trespassing, and publishing the sign just could help, so I suspect you're in the clear!

  23. i hope there was nobody around with a shotgun.:p

  24. That sign said nothing about a little lens sneaking over the line a bit, great ruby... happy 2010.
