This is the end of the ice-covering-the-pond photos for this year, I think
Winter isn't over yet, but the thick ice is melting and local ponds are beginning to look slushy and watery. How many more days till spring officially begins? Yikes, I can count them on my fingers...almost! Whoo hoo!

The ice won't last long in this nice sunny weather.,
ReplyDeleteI know you are tired of the snow and ice and now the slush---but it sure makes for a pretty picture. Like you said Spring is very near. MB
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty but it will be more fun to visit in a few weeks won't it?

Very pretty. Probably best, though, that thou dost not attempt to go skating on this body of water!
ReplyDeleteI also hope this is the end of the ice cold for this season (here included... ).
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

I wouldn't have minded a bit of that. . . I think maybe we need to change places. Spring came way too early for me.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a frozen pond. Amazing, isn'it it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I've visited your daily photo every day for the past several months although I'm not an official "follower." Your photos are very special.
still good and frozen. My husband dis some rescue training in a lake that had 2 feet of ice on it still. He said it was kind of cool looking up and watching the bubbles from his regulator skimming along the ice bottom.
ReplyDeleteI hope your winter ends soon, if that is what you want.
ReplyDeleteBTW, your link at the main page is incorrect. I couldn't get thru it, good thing you already commented on my post.

I like the layers in this picture and the row of, well, I'm not sure what they are, some kind of weeds sticking up in the middle.
ReplyDeleteI am just waiting for the day that I feel like sitting outside and having breakfast! The ice cannot leave too soon for me.
ReplyDeleteYes!! Soon, I will be visiting my favorite fishing holes to see if them little fishies missed me enough to come up and say hello.
ReplyDeleteWe hit 66 degrees today so I'm hoping snow is a thing of the past even though I know flurries are still possible.
ReplyDeleteLovely winter scene!
Mine’s here: Round The Bend.
We've got ice too....
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
Happy Watery Wednesday...Luna
Hope for spring soon! Nice place.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I'm counting the days, and counting the breaks in the ice on the creek. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteB.
You will definitely hit spring before me. You can see the ground a lot while we still have at least 50 cm still.... however the sun is warm so there is hope :-)
