Old corner building on a corner on the main street in Port Perry, Ontario
If you look very closely, you can see a few items that give away this photo's modern origin, but most of what's in this picture truly is old.
This is sepia on old paper worked in Photoshop Elements.

the building and the sky look like as if and artist drawn them on a piece of paper, it's amazing!
ReplyDeleteEG: What a cool photo of the neat building.
ReplyDeleteI had to look hard to find one.
ReplyDeleteNice composition. It looks like many small towns here in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteI suppose there's a couple of neon signs?
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

That is a beautiful building, the beveled corner of the structure so unique. The old brick building is full of the neat styling details that nobody builds into theirs anymore. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteI like the treatment. It looks like a vintage shot.
ReplyDeleteThe blending of old and new - this is how it should be done! Love that the character of the old building was preserved.
ReplyDeleteNice find!
Mine’s here: Round The Bend.
This looks more like art than a photography to me, as in a painting. Wonderful presentation of a beautiful old corner.
ReplyDeleteThe crinkled paper effect is very neat! I'm still looking for a modern item!
ReplyDeletei like the sepia & i like the texture, too! nice composition
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that?!
ReplyDeleteWow that is awesome, you would never know that wasn't an old pic.

AHA! Now I know why you shot high -- to hide the cars. Looks old.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you did this!
ReplyDeleteThere is a building very similar in the town where we used to work dating back to the late 1800's. Sepia makes it look so ancient-perfect EG !
ReplyDeleteB.
Great job! I love the "cafe" sign.
ReplyDeleteYou mean piano cafe? Do people in the old days have piano cafe?
ReplyDeleteNice building, and glad they are being preserved.
Beautiful architectural details. There are buidings with similar designs here in New England.
ReplyDeleteThis almost looks like a movie set from long ago.
Wonderful rendition. I like the old time corner buildings. There are several in Seattle. MB
ReplyDeleteBeautiful buildning and great shot. I often try to avoid cars when shooting buildings, but it's not easy to avoid. You've done very well here.
