Farm Pond/ Watery Wednesday

Hey, guys! The ice is off the pond. Let's swim!

Doesn't this metal sculpture look like it's thinking about jumping in?  It was raining slightly, but the bird didn't seem to care.

  2. This is the largest heron I've seen! It looks like it's going to attack that big bass lurking at the side of the pond.

It also looks like your snow is gone and spring is apringing!

  3. I'm afraid the water is still a little too chilly for me, but that guy certainly looks ready to go. Great capture.

  6. When I first saw this I actually said out loud ;whoa, that's a huge Heron' and then of course I see it isn't real. It is kinda neat though. Doesn't it look strange to see no snow? Wonderful!! MB

  14. Very interesting sculpture. The ice may have melted but I fear the water may just be a bit chilly for a dip.

  19. Someone has a wonderful sense of humour! I love the heron! It adds some interest to an otherwise ordinary pond! Is that a left-over sunflower beside the heron?

  28. After the heron what caught my eye were the trees. They look like giants in gnomeland.
