Farm Pond/ Watery Wednesday


Hey, guys! The ice is off the pond. Let's swim!

Doesn't this metal sculpture look like it's thinking about jumping in?  It was raining slightly, but the bird didn't seem to care.

    This is the largest heron I've seen! It looks like it's going to attack that big bass lurking at the side of the pond.

    It also looks like your snow is gone and spring is apringing!

    I'm afraid the water is still a little too chilly for me, but that guy certainly looks ready to go. Great capture.

    wow, what a heron. It almost looks like it cannot walk well since it is so tall with such long legs. nice capture

    When I first saw this I actually said out loud ;whoa, that's a huge Heron' and then of course I see it isn't real. It is kinda neat though. Doesn't it look strange to see no snow? Wonderful!! MB

    One more step and its in! Looks just like my heron from awhile back except mine was real and the water was a bit further away.

    Very interesting sculpture. The ice may have melted but I fear the water may just be a bit chilly for a dip.

    Someone has a wonderful sense of humour! I love the heron! It adds some interest to an otherwise ordinary pond! Is that a left-over sunflower beside the heron?

    what a clever sculptor, he made it so real that I had to look carefully.

    My teaching space is called Kotuku which is Heron in Maori.
