Oh-Oh! What are those flashing red and blue lights?
POLICE!
But never fear! The police officer turned his lights on so I could take a photo of the them flashing TRUE!My husband and I stopped at a coffee shop on a provincial highway patrolled regularly by the Ontario Provincial Police, a.k.a. O.P.P. Two officers were inside drinking, well, coffee. Outside, I was taking photos of their patrol cars. Unbeknownst by me, they were watching. OOPS!
When I went inside to get some coffee, they asked me if I wanted a photo of flashing lights. Wasn't that thoughtful?
Seeing red? Why not join in the Ruby Tuesday fun, by visiting MaryT at http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com/
They don't sound like any cops I know! Flashing lights is never a good sign.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, I have second thoughts about taking some photos these days...I mean, someone might think you're a terrorist and shoot the camera right out of your hands!
Kudos to EG's nice coppers!
Tell the truth, how fast were you going?
ReplyDeleteyou are so very very special!
ReplyDeleteWell weren't they just so nice. Clever idea for ruby tuesday.
ReplyDeleteAre you a whole day ahead up there in East G.? haha!! MB
Nice cops, lucky that they didn't think you were up to something :-)
ReplyDeleteDarla
Very nice of them!
ReplyDeleteI hope this is the only way you see flashing police lights!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that! I have lots of pictures of cops and cop cars since our son is one. (a cop not a car)
ReplyDeleteThat was nice of them. I had a weird dream last night about the police. They were driving an unmarked Volkswagen Beetle. Suddenly, I realized that I was, um... not appropriately attired. Then I woke up. What do you suppose it means?
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections !
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are always perfect!
I hope you didn't have problems that day with those gentle guys! LOL
hugs

That's a change from the vast and almost empty Canadian lanscapes!
ReplyDeleteNice! And friendly. Reminds me of the soldiers who let my daughter sit in their jeep with them so I could photograph her with them. They see you consider them important, so they are happy to play it up.
ReplyDeleteThose are nice officers..they liked the attention I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI know what Jacob means..sometimes I'm about to take out my camera in public but then think better of it.
See, these guys are working - and must have a soft spot for someone who is looking for Ruby Tuesday subjects. That blue and RED lightbar is perfect for today, the OPP a fine subject!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I did the same when I wanted to take photos of some exotic foods. Most of the shops or vendors don't want photos taken what more for a police car. You're so smart and you got a nice entry.
ReplyDeletethat was thoughtful :)
ReplyDeleteHow nice of them.
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice of them to do that!
ReplyDeleteHow nice of them. I don't think we have any cops like that around here, at least I don't want to find out. LOL
ReplyDeleteB.
Unbelievable scenario! And the Ontario police have quite a decorative emblem on the side of the car!
ReplyDeleteThat was mighty kind of them, really. Nice to know cops can humour as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Did you tell him it a ruby Tuesday post?
ReplyDeleteMy Ruby Link for you
that was cool of them
ReplyDeletegreat shots :)
Lucky you! That makes a fun photo.
ReplyDeleteThe things we do to get a photo! lol I am surprised you didn't take the flashing lights to mean you were in trouble! lol Brave soul!
ReplyDeleteI thought I was "bad" going up on a porch to get a better photo of a bench!
