Seen on a walk on June 1, 2010
Well, I actually saw much, much more but my pal Zoe, a friend's mini schnauzer whom I was babysitting, was not impressed with my picture taking. However, Zoe was a very good girl to let me take the photo of the dragonfly, don't you think?
Photos starting with the largest and moving clockwise: dragonfly (female common whitetail), grass loaded with pollen (Aaaaa-choo!), bladder campion in flower, purple vetch vine twisting it's way up and around a young staghorn sumac leaf, fox grapes and fox grape leaves.

Love all your bits of leaves and the collage you arranged. Zoe sounds like my kids - "come on, mom."
ReplyDeleteWonderful collage, but the dragonfly is the star!
ReplyDeleteYou always create the prettiest collages. Thanks for identifying everything, too.
ReplyDeleteCool collage, EG. I also love the dragonfly. Nice of Zoe to let you take the photo.
ReplyDeleteI'll learn how to create a collage one of these days!
I'm glad Zoe let you catch that fantastic shot of the dragonfly. I liked the variety in your collage.
ReplyDeleteThat dragonfly photograph is a-mazing. WOW. Zoe must be a good assistant when she puts her mind to it. ;)

ReplyDeletePretty collection of images on your collage.
Beautiful collage of pictures. Love the dragonfly!

ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful dragonfly, great capture. Your mosaic is really pretty.
ReplyDeleteStunning EG.
ReplyDeleteI always liked the way Sumac starts out. A tight fist at the end of the branch and the POP out it comes. MB
