Me again! With re to your question about the weather; it's in the low 90s most days, but gets down to about 70 at night. Not so bad. And we often get a thunderstorm in the afternoon which cools things down nicely.
We don't really start to cool off much until mid-October or later.
I just went through my emails and saw that you asked how many shots I took on my Rebel before it died and the answer to that is that I don't know.
However, for the past year and a half I have probably been taking 400 to 800 pictures a month.
I suspect that I took more pictures than the "average" consumer that they had in mind for that level of camera. But it could have just been a fluke thing as well.
