Roadside stands are becoming quite rare in our area, we stil know where one small one is and try to support it by buying something each time we pass by.
Excellent. I am so glad the roadside market is still alive and well in a lot of rural areas. And of course the Farmers Markets in many towns too. I even belong to a CSA (Consumer Supported Agriculture) where a local farmer brings me local fruit and veggies each week. He grows as much as he can and buys the rest from organic farmers. It is tagged so I know where it comes from too. Love the wagon best of all. MB
One of the best photos I've seen on the theme. I'm so dumb, I forgot all about the theme and was wondering why so many people were showing open air markets! Sheesh!
This is postcard pretty, EG. I am enjoying my tour of so many market places... and your photo reminds me I have a butternut squash I need to eat in the refrigerator. :-)
I always love to see road side stands with fresh produce. This is such an attractive one it would catch the eye of people passing by. My state has a web site with lists of road side produce stands which I like. It also includes farmers markets but I thought it was so cool that even small road side stands are included and it tells what they sell what time of year.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
