Fisher on Cook's Bay, Keswick, Ontario

I'm not sure if the fish were biting, but this hopeful fisher was waiting patiently fairly close to shore.

  16. What a big old wonderful tree and reflection. If fish always bit, it wouldn't be called fishing, it would be called catching.

  21. So absolutely still, EG. Wow!

You realise, of course, that no matter how gorgeous your reflection, it is the inclusion of the human that really MAKES this image. In my eye, at any rate.

  27. My uncle, an avid fisherman says fishing gives patience. Sometimes, he doesn't mind if there no fish.

    Great photo.

  29. So zen. I doubt the fisherman cares if he catches fish or not... just being at one with nature, letting go of the outcome. I love the warmth of your photos, EG.
