Deptford Pink/ Macro Monday

Diantus Armeria aka Deptford Pink

These pinks are garden escapes around here, often missed because they are tiny and can easily hide in the grass.

    I had these flowers in my yard, but didn't know their name. They are very tiny, but the color is amazing..Thanks for the info, and gorgeous photo!

    I love dianthus much more than their cousins the carnations, which are much too pretentious, especially when dyed.
