Fishers at the Port of Goderich, Ontario, on Lake Huron
These guys have definitely "gone fishing."
If you're wondering what's going on on the the other side of the water, come back Monday. If you're not wondering...please come back anyway.

Although sunny, it looks very cold there. :\
ReplyDeleteVery good right from the camera shot! It looks like they're having a good time too.
ReplyDeleteI just love this photo of the fishers on the harbour.. but you make me so querious.. what's going on on the other side, so I'm staring my eyes off on me.. but cannot find out of it.. ;) So sure- I'll be back to see.. :)
ReplyDeleteI think fishermen are the same the world over, nothing matters but the catch.
ReplyDeleteI love this one.
ReplyDeleteTeresa
What an atmosphere to go fishing in! :)
ReplyDeleteAt least they have some bright sunshine in which to do their fishing.
ReplyDeleteOh, what I love most is the pull to come back Monday... you are often telling stories with your photos.
ReplyDeleteEG,I'm curious! Just they are enjoying fishing. On the other side there is a huge factory surrounded by metal fences.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'll wait and come back Monday! "gone fishing" is some hint?? Have a nice day!
Yep, these are some serious fishermen!
ReplyDeleteIntrepid gents, to be sure! I like this very much.
ReplyDeleteGood day to catch fish like fish. happy SOOC Sunday.
ReplyDeletemine is here
Enjoying a friends company. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteNot the most scenic location to spend the day fishing!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes think that the process of fishing is more important to fishermen than the goal of catching fish. They seem quite companionable.
ReplyDeleteNice photo, although I'd be nervous about eating something caught right there! It definitely looks cold.
ReplyDeleteA fisherman will fish anywhere. what is the catch of the day? MB
ReplyDeleteThose two pillars are so big. di I see a female? Or is it like my Vietnamese boy student who tells me, "Girls not allowed."
ReplyDeleteVery Scenic, Happy sunday! and tnx for your lovely comment on my post.
ReplyDeleteI am now your newest follower and already a follower of your other blog
good day!
I guess they were hardly there for the scenery...?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they don't wanna be disturb hehe btw great shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat slice-of-life shot...can a person safely eat fish caught in this water?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like some kind of sporting arena is being built across the way...maybe?
Hardcore out in this weather. I shake my head when I see fishermen out on the ice or even on the shore like this in the cold. And I will be back to see what's on the other side. Interesting to get a look at another of the Great Lakes.
ReplyDeleteThey look cold...hope they were rewarded with a catch! I will be back to see whats on the other side!!!
ReplyDeleteThat must be a good spot. It looks like they plan on staying for a while. I like how they have commandeered the little concrete pad for their own use.
ReplyDeleteFishers are the same everywhere!
ReplyDeleteThe guy on the right looks like he has a fish on. I hope he caught himself some supper.
