Azaleas/ Scenic Sunday

Azaleas along a stairway, Highland Park, Rochester, New York, U.S.A.

In late May the lilacs were blooming and beautiful!

  1. Everything is blooming, isn't it wonderful to have so much color in the landscape?

  3. The azalea is such a nondescript bush to have such magnificent blossoms! They just don't last long enough, do they? It looks like your season is just about three months behind ours. The Nacogdoches Azalea Trail started its festivities in early March and we are definitely in the throes of summer now.

  4. The azalea blooms are magnificent. They remind me of my childhood in Natal, South Africa where these shrubs are prolific. Have a great week in your beautiful country. Blessings. Jo

  7. How very lovely! I just love Azaleas. The most extensive display I've ever seen was at Callaway Gardens near Atlanta. I got so many great images there.
