I know another Canadian who calls these hydro poles. That is so interesting. You know, those lines will carry electricity made from anything . . . coal, nuclear, gas OR hydro. Language differences are fascinating.
Come on, EG....You can walk that bridge if I can. It is OK when you are on it alone. When I stopped the other morning in all of that fog, I just had to walk out...and that was when I saw the replacement boards. Trust me, someone did that out of pocket. I know darn well the state or county did not pay for it. Actually it is a pretty secure one. I wouldn’t fool you :-) I really like your shot of the hydro poles. They are really impressive...so big. Any pictures with lots of the linear in them are ones I really like.

ReplyDeleteNature vs. civilization. Geometry vs. the simplicity of sky. There's a lot to think about in this photo. Love the sunset colors, too.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot. This would make a great print/gift for someone that worked for the Power company especially for Father's Day.
ReplyDeleteI just love industrial type stuff, especially paired with a nice sky.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great and interesting photo.
ReplyDeleteI quite like taking pictures of these, but I hate it when they get in the way of a scene of something else!
