R is for RAINBOW.
Rainbow over an East Gwillimbury park
RAINBOW: a spectrum of light seen in the sky when light from the sun shines through droplets of moisture in the Earth's atmosphere.
Rainbow effects can also be seen near fountains, water falls and...
Balloons in a rainbow of colours
even floating over strip malls. Festive, don't you think?
And somewhere northwest of where I live (I honestly forget where exactly), a rainbow effect is painted on...
House painted in rainbow colours
a building. Yes, it's for real! So, would YOU paint your house like this?
I am linking to Jenny Matlock at Alphabe-Thursday HERE
there must have been a special on rainbow flavoured paint at the local paint store.
ReplyDeleteIt would be easy to give directions if you live in a house like that. ;)
ReplyDeletelove the rainbows love the baloons the house not so much.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rainbow!
ReplyDeleteThis post kept getting better and better! The house is incredible, I love it!
ReplyDeleteSomeone who painted that house must be really in love with color!
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow is special, and I love balloons.
Oh my! I must rethink my new paint scheme. Everyone would be jealous of my house if I had one like that. ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. This house is cool! :)
ReplyDeleteHow cheery and beautiful with all those colours.
ReplyDeleteAnd finding that painted house...priceless.

I love rainbows. Great R choice.
ReplyDeleteYou got some beautiful pictures of rainbows, and of rainbow balloons. But I must admit that I'm not ready to paint our house in the rainbow colors you showed in your last picture.
ReplyDeleteThe rainbows are almost vertical.
ReplyDeleteI will say Wow to the house, but sorry, I won't live in it.
It is the same as a multicolored rainbow bow. Sorry, I wear balck most of the time in winter.
Talking about winter, we have another polar blast.
Fabulous! Love all your rainbow images! No, I would not paint my house like this unless I lived alone on an island somewhere....
ReplyDeleteI love the second shot of the rainbow! The apple tree seems to be bathed in golden light!
ReplyDeleteThat house is something else! I am trying not to judge other people, but that kinda stretches the limits...
Nice variety of rainbows!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't want to look at that house too often!
ReplyDeleteI love the rainbow pictures. I was treated to a beautiful rainbow yesterday, but I didn't have my camera.
ReplyDeleteTeresa
I love rainbows but I would never paint my house like that!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rainbow, but I don't know about that house!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comment on my blog. I love your photos.
ReplyDeleteThat house is really different. I like it but not sure I would be brave enough to do that to my neighbours. :) B
Wondering what those folks do when the holidays arrive?? That is quite the house!!
ReplyDeleteLove the balloons against the blue sky...
Well rainbows are considered good luck so these people are playing into it. LOL MB
ReplyDeleteGreat rainbows and other rainbow colors! I would not mind painting my houses roof in these colors, it could be fun ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love to see a rainbow, off in the distance. We don't see many here because of the trees.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think I'll be painting my house in rainbow colours!
It's a long time I haven't seen a rainbow !
ReplyDeleteI want to know who lives in this "Rainbow" house ! must be an artist or somebody a little crazy !
That rainbow is wonderful, lucky you!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
Nice set of rainbows, but the house beat them all!
ReplyDeleteI love the rainbow of balloons.
ReplyDeleteWell, I tried to scan all the comments so far...maybe I missed it but no one pointed out the curtains in the rainbow house are all sky with clouds....Not sure I would want to live in it either....but to each his own. If you were looking for this place, it would be easy to spot.
ReplyDeleteLoved your rainbow shots, though. Actually loved the house, too. But for different reasons.
The house if fun to look at but I think it would give ma a headache to live there.
ReplyDeleteDarla
Omigod! You really went all out today. They're all wonderful but I really like that house painted in the "rainbow" colors...it's gawdy but...there's something about it. Could this have been a bar at one time?
ReplyDeleteThat house is amazing! Not something I'd do, but quite striking...
ReplyDeleteLord no I couldn't live there, but it would be fun to look at! :) My husbund is from the Great White North- Etobicoke, Ontario.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Alphabe-Thursday! :)
Those are some excellent rainbow shots!

ReplyDeleteBlessings & Aloha!
And thank you for your sweet comment!
We saw a double rainbow last Saturday evening after a mean thunderstorm. I love rainbows. I am always reminded of this saying I learned in church..."A rainbow is God's promise to us that he will never flood the Earth again." Whether or not it is true, I still look at a rainbow as a symbol of hope.~Ames
ReplyDeleteHappy! Happy! JoY! JoY! Love all the rainbows you've captured:)
ReplyDeleteWe see lots of rainbows here during the monsoon season, but I have NEVER seen a house like that one!!
ReplyDeleteI love rainbows! I remember when we did rainbow summer school for Alphabe-Thursday. I will never ever forget Roy G. Biv as long as I live!
ReplyDeleteThis was such a beautiful and happy post!
The house made me smile.
