My yard - yes, it IS snow!
More than a dusting but not enough to shovel...and it is melting. We are now entering the season or brown and whites with a smattering of evergreen.
Largest square: bunny tracks. The bunny was checking out the situation, me thinks. Moving clockwise: snow on purple coneflower seed heads, icicle shaped like a Christmas stocking. a grass (Miscanthus) seed head, dried hydrangea blossom and turtlehead seed heads

the pic in the top right corner is WOW!!! love that one!!!
ReplyDeleteI love each and every one of these! You have such a wonderful eye!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow shots...Our snow is all melted. We've had some flurries but nothing that is sticking.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are gorgeous, what a lovely mosaic. Well done! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteGreat collage. I wish we had more snow and less brown, but I guess it will come in time.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of your snow. Very pretty on the browns.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, when you were surprised by the ice on mine, I think it may have been misleading. We've had some very warm days but also some chilly ones where it's been well below freezing at night which has frozen the tops of the water in my bird baths. I dump it out and end up with the pieces of ice I photographed but it's not like we're having ice storms or sleet yet. I'm just making ice in the bird baths. Most days so far it will thaw out on its own but the birds let me know they don't want to wait on the sun to take a bath, ha.
First week in December. I guess this is going to happen, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteAhem...snow? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteNo, seriously, snow is not unknown here...rare, though. However, when I tee off tomorrow morning it is supposed to be 35 degrees which is illegal in Florida! And it's only going to get up to 63. Bah, humbug!
I've heard that word, "fore" before. Usually, though, I'm the one yelling it because of an errant shot.
ReplyDeleteRe the horse fever horses...not a series, but we've got a bunch of new ones so I'm going to try to photograph them...and I'll post them in the order photographed, unless I change my mind and photograph them in the order posted.
I'll quit now.
It looks as if you had a perfect amount of snow -- not enough to shovel, but enough to give some beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteOoh, ooh, what pretty snow shots. You make the snow look like elegant drapery on nature.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteHa, love the bunny print :)
ReplyDeleteYour photos full of winter are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice collage!
ReplyDeleteBunny tracks. I would not have known. Great snow shots. I hope I don't get such an opportunity.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see the snow dressing up your remnant garden. A dusting for starters is nice, time enough for sharpening your shovelling skills yet.
ReplyDeleteLove the grass peaking through. That's what I would want to do if snowed on:)
ReplyDeleteLovely captures!
I love these little collages of shots that you construct. I've tried it in the past but have never been satisfied with the results but yours is just great.
ReplyDeleteI'd say it's wintertime in your neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy looking at your snow. I wouldn't enjoy being in it but it certainly gives you the opportunity for some beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteDarla
Lovely mosaic - I'm glad the snow is melting. White can be awfully tiring after a while;-)
ReplyDeleteThe miscanthus is quite lovely. So many plants reward closer inspection:-)
Gorgeous! Still quite hot here, I wonder when winter will come...
ReplyDeleteA lovely collage but I am pleased to say not snowing here, yet :)
ReplyDeleteEach is wonderful, but especially like the shot in the top right corner. We have a bunny family living under our storage shed. I think we'll have plenty of bunny tracks once we get some snow.
ReplyDeleteLook here--what we find---- *snow*!! =) Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures with just touches of snow! Our melted the same day too, but still cold and windy!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots. The frosting of snow adds such beauty to otherwise sad, lost things.
ReplyDeleteYes..the yard looks like a race track with all the activity..Love the rabbit tracks...Thank you for linking up to Nature Notes EG....
