ELECTRIFYING #1
Power lines and towers owned by Hydro-One, the company that supplies the Province of Ontario with electricity.
As some of you already know (yes, my face is red), I mistakenly posted an E last week before I learned it was a D-week. Hmmm. If you would like to see my original E post on Elephants you can check it out HERE.

i did not know you posted and e for a dand i am thinking most of us did not. your E is wonderful today. I love the power lines in front of the stunning sky... amazing to me how power lines can be beautiful
ReplyDeleteAt least you had a backup! That first photo is pretty amazing with the brilliance of the sun.
ReplyDeleteThat sunset is gorgeous. An E for a D huh? You're suppose to tell everyone you did it on purpose to see if they were paying attention. :)
ReplyDeleteThese metallic and geometric lines are in harmony with organic skies!
ReplyDeleteI love each and every image.
great shots!
ReplyDeleteI have a special place in my heart for substations. I could probably tell you more than you want to know about the equipment in there!!
ReplyDeleteLove your sky. :)
I think we all have moments like that...I love how you made these power lines and towers look so beautiful.
ReplyDeletebeautiful shots! laughing at posting 2 Es. :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting designs with the lines. Glad you got your alphabet straightened out, LOL!
ReplyDeleteDarla
Ah, these are things of beauty! (From a guy who spent a career in the power industry.)
ReplyDeleteLove the sky colours in the backgroound, I for one didn't notice the e mistake and loved the elephants.
ReplyDeleteGreat "E_-post!
ReplyDeleteThat top image is, well, ELECTRIFYING!
;-D
Very graphic, like modern art.
ReplyDeleteWonderful graphic shots! Love that first sky.
ReplyDeletePerfekta och underbara bilder. Ha de gott. Anita
ReplyDeleteI rather think I like this E . I liked the elephants but I am blown away by these shots. These are fabulous. Do you see the dollar signs floating out of peoples houses in Ontario? :) B
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast of the colorful sunset with the austere power lines. (And I love the elephants, too!) =>
ReplyDeleteI just love that top shot!

What a great word, electrifying. Beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteWhat stunning photos. Who would have thought they would be such beautiful objects!
ReplyDeleteWow E.G.Wow, these photos are electrifying. Gorgeous sunset. xo
ReplyDeleteWhat exciting skies. The POWER in each is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteVery contemporary art! Not to worry - I got the correct alphabet letter but posted during our off week when class on break...had to yank off real quick before our Miss Jenny noticed:o)
ReplyDeleteShocking post, to be sure!! When I was younger, I always imagined them to be people from outer space, marching across the landscape.
ReplyDeleteElectric lines are not something that I would think of as beautiful, but you've made them so. Great captures.
ReplyDeleteOh I love your shots of these power plant! The sun set one is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThese are all quite interesting. But I have to say that to hear you went with "E" on a "D" day gave me a real shock!
ReplyDeleteOh this sure bounces right off my computer...excellent burst of color it is electric in so many ways!
ReplyDeleteYou've made something that is usually ugly, beautiful. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love your take on E! The pictures are stunning!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful...sometimes powerlines really add to a photograph.
ReplyDeleteLove these graphic images. Ironically, like most other people, I suspect, I usually try to avoid the power lines in my images. But if you can't beat 'em, I say, shoot em!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat gorgeous sunset beyond the ubiquitous hydro lines - there's a story there.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think that power lines could be so photogenic. Obviously the sunlight and your skills help a lot!
ReplyDeleteDon't ask me to choose between elephants and electricals... but both posts are exciting! :-)
ReplyDeleteSuperb ‘E’ post – great images!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend & look forward to *seeing* you soon.
Here’s mine
Love your electrifying red pic!!
ReplyDeleteHello.
ReplyDeleteNormally, I would say power lines are an eyesore, but these are great. I like the first one best. Your original "E" post was pretty awesome too. I'm happy the elephants are going to be able to roam more freely, even if not in complete freedom.
Thanks for sharing.

Eleven Roses And You
Those power lines silhouetted against the sky are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSo architectural and elegant!
I really enjoyed seeing your post this week.
It was quite exciting.
Thanks for linking up to the letter "E".
