Lake Simcoe/Watery Wednesday

Sunday afternoon near Jackson's Point on Lake Simcoe

In many places on Lake Simcoe the water is still unfrozen!

I am linking to Watery Wednesday where you can find many more watery photos.

  3. Amazing to see so much open water at this time of winter.... it's been so mild!

  4. I take it that normally the lake would be frozen solid. Looks cold as it is.

  14. Red Pat,
Lake Simcoe is a much deeper lake than Lake Scugog. :)

  20. I think I'd like to buy that house in the background. Could you check it out for me and see if the owners would come down a million or two? What a vista! Wow. Oh, I'd probably get up thataway only in the summertime. I don't know why.

  29. Looks cold tho...even if the water remains thawed. Wow...what a gorgeous setting. I could be in a cabin right now, on the shores of the lake with a huge window...and a fire in the fireplace...with a scene like this.
