Obedient Plant/Sunday Best

Obedient Plant (Physotegia)

One of the latest bloomers in my gardens and much appreciated this time of year when most plants are fading or have faded.

  14. This is a pretty flower in the fall. Mine almost took over my garden last year. So I dug some up and planted in other places but it didn't do too well this year.
    Great bokeh. I wish I could get that.

  23. I love this capture! I recall repositioning the individual flowers on the stalk of an Obedience Plant, mesmerized with the task and the analogy I could use with my children. I love this little perennial!
