Mural/Our World

Left side of mural on side of pharmacy, Jackson's Point

This mural is on the outside of a pharmacy that carries a huge variety of items very much the same way as a general store might.  The building it's painted on is quite old so may have been a general store at one time.

  8. Amazing murals. The horses look like they are actually running down the street.

  9. This is such a lovely mural with a nice sense of movement. I guess the quaint general stores of days gone by have evolved into mega stores like WalMart.

  11. I had to look hard at the store front to see it not being the real thing as they did just a picture perfect job.

  13. Great mural. We once lived in a small Iowa town with a real General Store. It had operated in the same location since the 19th Century and still had buggy hardware for sale, but I loved their meat market the best. Could only buy what they were cutting that day, unless I put in a special order.
