Chipmunk/Top Shot

 Chipmunk out foraging

Last Monday the weather was warm, and this chippy was out and about looking for yummy treats. He was here, he was there, he was EVERYWHERE...excited about the spring weather.

Chipmunk returning home

The entrance to this guy's home was not very well hidden.

I am linking to Madge's Weekly Top Shot.

  2. They are lovely, but dumb as bricks! They camp out in our backyard, with 4 cats in the house!

  8. You really got some great shots of that little guy. We seemed to have big black squirrels here and no chipmunks, you are lucky to get those little guys and to find their nest, that is big!!
I really enjoyed looking at your pictures, very nice work.

  15. Chipmunks! Golly i enjoy them. I used to live in Lake Tahoe, Nevada - where they were everywhere and CUTE,

A few years ago I saw an albino chipmunk here in the city at the History Museum . . i didn't realize they existed.

Now we have them in good numbers around my neighborhood - I call them "peeps" - because that's the sound they make.

    Happy Day!!

  22. Was his name Dale perchance? Cute. I hadn't seen a chipmunk in years until we visited Colorado. We must not have them in Florida; either that, or the hawks have eaten them up! :)
