T/Alphabe-Thursday

 Colour in Algonquin Provincial Park

This week Alphabe-Thursday is celebrating the Letter and here T stands for TREES.

Yesterday, my husband and I spent the day in Algonquin Provincial Park where the trees have turned golds, oranges and reds.  The day started out
foggy...

Kilometre 12 inside the park

Oxtongue River

and ended overcast...but in between the sky was delightful, even turning blue at midday.

Blue sky reflected in the river at lunchtime

I like the contrast of the colourful hardwood leaves with the dark green of the spruce and pine trees.

Reflections in the river on Opeongo Road

And of course I love the relections!

  7. Hi again. To respond to your question. Yes, cardinals are very skittish. But it so happens we have a big bush just outside our kitchen window - a window they cannot see in!

Last night while eating dinner, we counted 9 cardinals and 1 dove along with two other smaller birds on or alongside of that bush! I can sit inside and take picture after picture and they never know it. :)
