Winter may be "right around the corner" but it's not here yet! Largest square: Red-breasted nuthatch eating peanuts. Moving clockwise from top right: flying common mergansers, flying goldeneye, paddler in yellow kayak, swimming gadwall ducks, and paddler in blue kayak.

ReplyDeleteThe pics look like autumn but it sure feels like winter, we even got a sprinkling of snow here in the city. You probably got more as I was talking to someone in Aurora last night and it was snowing a lot there!

ReplyDeleteHello fellow Canadian. :) Beautiful photos of the birds; especially the nuthatch. I just finished painting two of those little guys on a map. Don't you love the way the descend head first? I'd love to go for a kayak still this year. Here on the West Coast it's nippy but not too cold. I still might get out there once. :)
