Goldfinch

 Goldfinch fluffed up in the cold

Goldfinches are frequent visitors to our yard and also to the feeders behind the visitors centre in Algonquin Provincial Park where these photos were taken.

  10. I love goldfinches and we have lots of them here this winter. They are too fast for me to capture decent photos of though.

  27. Super shots. I love Goldfinches. The American Goldfinch is Washington's state bird. Our feeders are alive with them but only in the summer. Why?????
