That first photo looks like it could have been a scene from Dr. Zhivago. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the first two stately mansions. The abandoned house and the bird house are charming.
ReplyDeleteLove looking at houses. Both modern and old. Lovely selection.
ReplyDeleteThe bird house is so cute! Love all pictures but that first one is really fantastic, and it is more splendid because the snow, your picture is perfect!

i love the Victorian & the abandoned home (such character on that one.) really love the bird house. where is the cutie? a bird family. ( :
ReplyDeleteBeautiful houses. The abandoned home has kind of a ramshackle charm to it.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that the inhabitants of No. 56 win the cosiness prize.
ReplyDeleteOK, I think you've got the range of housing options there. Each is charming in its own way.
ReplyDeleteThat quote is fantastic, and that abandoned house somehow the most compelling of all. Happy 2014, hope it's off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteYou had me cursing the rich until I scrolled down and saw my house. :) Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeletethey are all three beautiful homes. i would prefer the second one to live in if it was fixed up. the others are gorgeous but way way to big for me.. the Victorian is my favorite for looks

ReplyDeleteI really like the first two; the rest not so much. But any house can be made into a home with the right ingredients. Lovely photos. The bird house is very cute. Wonder what "56" means.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite the range of homes. The first two are beautiful, but too big for my taste.
ReplyDeleteTis a lovely victorian house. The bird house is cute with a number on it - clever.
ReplyDeleteThe first two look so pretty with the snow! I'm not sure if any birds can fit in the birdhouse though. :)

ReplyDeleteThat Victorian house is something else...all are beautiful...and I love that old abandoned one....
