ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise. These are so up close and gorgeous, they look like painted portraits!
ReplyDeleteI agree! She looks like she's up for a date. Love these birds. My eyes now begin to shift towards the Tricolored Blackbirds in California. I love blackbirds. This year we had beautiful views of the nesting Brewer's, Yellow-headed, and Red-winged. Great shots of the female. I always love beginning birders the first time they see the female....they don't believe that's she's a red-winged:) Happy birding!
ReplyDeleteYou've gotten some marvelous photos of the beauty of mid-July. I especially like your portrait of the male Red-winged Blackbird.
