How relaxing to sit in the shade with a good book or
Fishing on Lake Scugog
fish on the bank of a lake or river. So far August has been lovely here: not too hot and not too cold. Just right.

Bees have no time for leisure though!
That first photo is a magnificent evocation of lazy summer days. Here the weather has suddenly reverted to its November mode; grey skies and bursts of rain. Enjoy the sun while you can.

ReplyDeleteOur weather tends to be the same as yours, just a few hours later. Aside from a couple of hot days here and there, we haven't really had a true heat wave this summer.
Those two photos really speak "Summertime...and the livin' is easy".
ReplyDeleteThat first click should be the cover of a very fine book!
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a good book and quiet solitude, except maybe to also be in a beautiful setting. Love to fish too. Have a great Sunday!
