 Fire engine pedal car

Ding, ding, ding. Make way for the fire engine!

Remember driving when there was much less traffic and most people obeyed the speed limit?

  5. My cousin had a fire engine like this one. Such fun! Love the tractor, too. My brother and I needed on of those to play farmer. We used a tricycle. lol

  9. Love these...and yes, I do remember less traffic and people driving the speed limit. It is amazing at the amount of traffic there is now compared to say 25 years ago. It is a constant stream of traffic almost anywhere we go.

  14. Pedal cars are highly collectible these days fetching good prices although the fire truck looks as if it may be a repop (reproduction).

  23. I remember riding a pedal car when I was little, but I don't think it was mine. What wonderful memories these images bring up.

  24. These are awesome, more like showpieces than toys. When there were only four cars in the whole country, two of them wrecked into each in Ohio, injuring both drivers. This story is totally unbelievable, but apparently true.

  28. By the way--the bunkers under the Denver airport are vehemently denied. :-) Just FYI, a lot of people don't understand why the murals are allowed to be in the Denver Airport, but the airport is privately funded, as I mentioned, and the people who control it believe that there will be a cataclysm and then a new world will emerge (New World Order) when most people will be gone and the children of the world will inherit a time of peace, but with the elite in charge. This is one of their ways of telling us what is going on, without trumpeting it loudly. It's like the Georgia Guidestones (look them up if you don't know about them). We just had to go see them for ourselves.

  29. Actually, EG, I can't remember any time when people obeyed the speed limit. At least in Boston, it has always been considered a suggestion.

"Don't trust anyone over 30." Oh, do I remember that. My first job out of college was working for the budget director of the City of Boston, who was 29. He had a wife and two kids and was both mature and a big influence within Boston city hall. We had a 30th birthday party at his townhouse in Boston, and he seemed like he was of a different generation.

  39. I like that tractor. My eldest had a red Farmall Cub tractor when she was young. I don't know why we gave it away before the others got to play on it. MB
