Fire engine pedal car
Ding, ding, ding. Make way for the fire engine!
Remember driving when there was much less traffic and most people obeyed the speed limit?
Pedal tractor
In celebration of the old and wonderful "stuff", I am connecting to Rubbish Tuesday HERE.

Both are so cute! Very creative and well done designed cars!

You just activated some old memories that were locked up in my brain.
ReplyDeleteThese are most memorable and if only people would obey the "rules of the road"!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI like the "2 Ton" tractor. :-)
ReplyDeleteReally wonderful finds.

I am sure these created a lot of childhood happiness.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin had a fire engine like this one. Such fun! Love the tractor, too. My brother and I needed on of those to play farmer. We used a tricycle. lol
ReplyDeleteOh these are awesome. Hug B
ReplyDeletemy brother had a red metal pedal car back in the 50's... i like this tractor.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and I'm sure the kiddies have lots of fun on them!
ReplyDeleteThose are certainly fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are cute old kiddies rides. Great finds. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteOldies but cuties.
ReplyDeleteLove these...and yes, I do remember less traffic and people driving the speed limit. It is amazing at the amount of traffic there is now compared to say 25 years ago. It is a constant stream of traffic almost anywhere we go.
ReplyDeleteI wizzed around in a firetruck just like that.
ReplyDeleteOh boy do I like that tractor.
ReplyDeleteDarla
Those are both cute and kind of unusual too.
ReplyDeleteso very cute. they'd be worth some money. :)
ReplyDeletePedal cars are highly collectible these days fetching good prices although the fire truck looks as if it may be a repop (reproduction).
ReplyDeleteI bet you there wouldn't be many kids who could resist these gorgeous little cars EG.
ReplyDeleteThey are so wonderful. Cute memories!
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun, EG!! My sons would have loved driving these around when they were little guys -- my daughters probably would have, too!! Great memories indeed!! Thanks so much for sharing these! Have a beautiful new week!!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! My brothers had a similar red fire truck. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I loved those things when I was little.
ReplyDeleteGREAT stuff! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI love them and my youngest grandson would love them too!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the old petal cars. The two wheels on that little tractor and just great!
ReplyDeleteI love these, EG! Wish I had one when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteI remember riding a pedal car when I was little, but I don't think it was mine. What wonderful memories these images bring up.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely and funny!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome, more like showpieces than toys. When there were only four cars in the whole country, two of them wrecked into each in Ohio, injuring both drivers. This story is totally unbelievable, but apparently true.
ReplyDeleteif i were a kid, i'd want one. on second thought, i'm no longer a kid and i still want one :)
ReplyDeleteany kid would love to have one, old or new, they'd love it.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun photos and so well done! for OWT!

A young child's dream.
ReplyDeleteBy the way--the bunkers under the Denver airport are vehemently denied. :-) Just FYI, a lot of people don't understand why the murals are allowed to be in the Denver Airport, but the airport is privately funded, as I mentioned, and the people who control it believe that there will be a cataclysm and then a new world will emerge (New World Order) when most people will be gone and the children of the world will inherit a time of peace, but with the elite in charge. This is one of their ways of telling us what is going on, without trumpeting it loudly. It's like the Georgia Guidestones (look them up if you don't know about them). We just had to go see them for ourselves.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteThose were the days.
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute.
ReplyDeleteActually, EG, I can't remember any time when people obeyed the speed limit. At least in Boston, it has always been considered a suggestion.
ReplyDelete"Don't trust anyone over 30." Oh, do I remember that. My first job out of college was working for the budget director of the City of Boston, who was 29. He had a wife and two kids and was both mature and a big influence within Boston city hall. We had a 30th birthday party at his townhouse in Boston, and he seemed like he was of a different generation.
Wonderful finds for old stuff.
ReplyDeleteI like that tractor!
ReplyDeleteI love all those old vehicles. I didn't have one but the more well off kids in our neighborhood did.
ReplyDeleteI want one! I always wanted a dollhouse and only got one when I was around 50!
ReplyDeleteI like it. Greetings.

ReplyDeleteGreat nostalgic finds, quite valuable too!
ReplyDeleteThey both look in very drive-able condition too!
ReplyDeleteThose are some very well maintained vehicles. Old and wonderful stuff.
ReplyDeletemy uncle had a few of these in his backyard for me and my cousins to ride around on!
ReplyDeleteI loved these as a kid!
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable. I love the tractor.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I will take the tractor!
ReplyDeleteI like that tractor. My eldest had a red Farmall Cub tractor when she was young. I don't know why we gave it away before the others got to play on it. MB
ReplyDeleteThese are neat! I love a throwback kiddie car.
ReplyDelete=)
those kiddie cars are in great shape! Great shots.
