Opeongo River

 White canoe on Opeongo River

The Opeongo River winds through part of Algonquin Provincial Park, situated a couple of hours north of where I live. Algonquin is a beautiful park teeming with wildlife and - on the last weekend in September - canoes. The weather was perfect and...

A little further down the river

the scenery was beautiful.

  28. Simply stunning scenery "E.G." - thank you for sharing this gorgeous region with us. Canoeing through it seems a fitting mode of travel too, so as to disturb the environment as little as possible. Happy weekend!
