1. In a row
This week I am again playing Ashley Fisk's scavenger hunt and here are the prompts: In a row, salty, sweet, sitting and just because.
This shot was taken where a river empties into Georgian Bay, a popular place this time of year.
2. Salty (??)
Nope! No salt added here.
3. Sweet (?)
YES!
4. Sitting
This fisher looked a
5. Just Because
It's almost winter and time to put the boat away, me thinks.
I am linking to Ashley Sisk's Scavenger Hunt HERE
I use this formula to decide when not to be out on the water in a kayak or canoe: both the water temperature and the air temperature are below 60°F.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great challenge because it leaves lots of room for imagination.
ReplyDeletePerfecto!!! love them all and that is one weird fisherman.. can't wait to show this one to Bob.. he would do it in a flash.. he is glued to drag racing right now. the Jay pic is the winner for Blue Ribbon Photo today.
ReplyDeleteAha, the fishermen are dying for it, a wasted time, lol. Brilliant photos.
ReplyDeleteI really like Nr. 5 and the shadows in it.

Wow, what a dreamy place that last on is! For just because. I used to play along with this too, and just got out of the habit, with summer's busy times. Your lovely choices are urging me back!
ReplyDeleteSomeone is providing that jay with plenty of snacks. Walnuts???? What no gummy bears?
ReplyDeleteNice shots, especially the jay. And the fisherman, weird and or crazy.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your photos! Looks like the fisherman is very well equipped!
ReplyDeleteThe jay is my fav also EG, you take the fantabulous bird shots!
ReplyDeleteserious fishermen getting in one last line. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots for the hunt- that fisherman is quite the character, but that boat sets too deep in the water for safety..and all that paraphernalia ..strange indeed.
ReplyDeleteDespite what, life has to go on... sailing according to the changes changing the way of life. Nice photos
ReplyDeleteThat jay shot's my favourite.
ReplyDeleteCool series!

You did a great job with this scavenger hunt.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots for the day and, of course, my favorite is the jay and the craziest is the fisherman???? Ah, but to each his own!! Have a wonderful day and enjoy the moment!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous images! The fisherman's truly special, he must have gotten out there early in the day. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAll together those pics give a perfect view of the mood in your part of the world today .
ReplyDeleteHi, I am Mary from the Egg Farm. I am following the comments to the Scavenger Hun posts since there isn't a link. Love your shots. What a gorgeous place you have there in Canada. Love your interpretations!
ReplyDeleteNow of course the blue jay is my favorite and then that hawk in the prior post...stunning! :)
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful pictures !
ReplyDeleteI'll have a couple of grapes, they look gorgeous, as does the bird! It does look cold, no snow yet?
ReplyDeleteI really like your shots of the grapes and the bluejay.
ReplyDeleteNice treats for the bluejay!
ReplyDeleteAnd I understand the fishing compulsion.

Great photos for the prompts!
ReplyDeletegreat photos..I especially like the salty one!
ReplyDeleteI will have to check out the challenge...
You really need to do a bird book, EG!
ReplyDeleteThese are all superb photographs. You do have fun with these "hunts." Love that guy fishing in his little cataraman. That would win a prize somewhere!
ReplyDeleteI like Nr.2
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I enjoyed all them so much.
ReplyDeletePrincipally I love the blue bird!
The fisherman is bizarre and he make me laugh with so much paraphernalia.
I love your wonderful pictures !

hm, I think I want one of those little katamarans the fisherman has. Seem cool. :)
ReplyDeleteMy son has a fishing kayak, but would love this setup!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great series of photos EG. The Blue Jay was super and that fisherman's get-up was so interesting. Lovely photos all of them.
ReplyDeleteThat was well done. They're all fine shots but I think your "in a row" was particularly clever.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in the water in the first image!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all great shots. Though the fellow sitting in the boat looks strange. The last shot is by far my favorite shot.
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to see how you interpret the clues. Do you go out to shoot them after you get the clues, or do you search your archives?
ReplyDeletenice photos
ReplyDeletelove the one of the bird and nuts
think that man was either desperate or tough lol
Excellent pics and fun Scavenger hunt. MB
ReplyDeleteNr.1 is beautiful!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices for the prompts.
ReplyDeleteThe fishermen all in a row is cool and it looks like a great spot for fishing.
I'm glad you give out "no salt" on your peanuts.
Grapes are a sweet treat, although I like green ones better.
Oh that sitting down shot is so interesting. He does look a little weird.
Boating season is most likely over unless you are a die hard boater.
The "linky" is up now if you want to add yours.
