For fun, I decided to play with a photo I took last week of greenhouse frames on the Holland Marsh in East Gwillimbury. )FYI: The ones in the distance are covered with plastic.)

I am also joining Nature Footsteps' Digital Art Meme HERE.
You had a lot of fun playing in Photoshop, EG!
ReplyDeleteFun shots. I like the creative versions and am glad I don't have to pick a favourite.
ReplyDeleteSerious photographers see what they do as an art and one should make use of all the tools possible to create that which is unique to them.
ReplyDeleteAre these for sale, or rent? Is it a governmental project? Just curious to see so many greenhouse frames in one place.
Hi Lowell,
ReplyDeleteThe Holland Marsh is a 21,000-acre wetland area in Ontario that was drained (many years ago) and approximately 7200 acres are now agricultural land.
I don't know for sure why there are so many greenhouses but I am guessing these in this photo are for growing vegetable seedlings to get a jump on spring.
very creative and I liked the last one best.
ReplyDeleteI like all the different looks. It's too hard to choose a favorite.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Evidence of a real artist. Not only do you take wonderful pics, but it's fun playing with them isn't it?
ReplyDeleteFun seeing all the different versions. I don't have any of that fancy software yet. Maybe when I finally get a new computer, I'll make the investment. Looks like a lot of fun to play with the different filters.
ReplyDeletePretty shapes, and I like what you've done with it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful structure, Tina. I like the B&W transformation, but the others are nice too.
ReplyDeleteHave a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
Wow! Love all the different post editing processes you did on each photo.
ReplyDeleteI like the b&w version.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy my visits.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting composition which is enhanced by some nice effects.
ReplyDeleteI like what Lowell said I have heard it before and it took the pressure off for a while I thought editing was cheating not anymore and you had fun :)
ReplyDeletePhotoshop, an adult's toy.
ReplyDeleteI like all of the edits, i think the cooling is my favorite but it is a tie with warming filter
ReplyDeletelol, I love it! You have done a great job with the filters. Seems you have a great eye for colors.
ReplyDeleteIf you like, I have the optional theme "brown" in DAM the coming wednesday. There are brown colors in your images. Maybe you would like to join? :)

This structural image was made for black and white EG, so much fun playing with effects.
ReplyDeleteThose actually look kind of majestic!
ReplyDelete=)
I am so happy that you were inspired to make this wonderful geometric art - and it is not too late to add it to the linky either.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite? I think the cooling filter version..but a hard choice to make.
I like all of your versions. The frames make for a great abstract because the same basic shape is repeated again and again.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I just passed a scene very similar to this yesterday. I was at an intersection with a stop light in the middle of nowhere, yet suddenly there was traffic going in all directions. By the time I got my camera out, I had to move and there was nowhere to pull over, so I missed it.
Great picture to play with :)
ReplyDeleteI love the blue cooling version very much.
Great job!
Have a fine day

cool abstracts...I really like the first blue one. Great photo to start with too!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are indeed artistic ... that is why you are such an awesome photographer ... it's that artistic eye. These are great. I just watched a program about the plastic green houses in Spain. Very impressive. Anyway, I agree with Lori ... I like the cool version the best. Really nice EG.
ReplyDeleteAndrea @ From The Sol
I don't know which to choose.
ReplyDeleteLove them all.
Have a nice evening.
