K/Alphabe-Thursday

Two Kayaks on Cook's Bay (Lake Simcoe)

K is for KAYAKS.

I'd like to tell you I took these photos last week but you'd know I was lying. So, yes, these are from my archives.  It was sunset in August.

Sorry, no ice or snow today. Just memories

  31. Memories -- especially in the middle of a hard winter -- are wonderful! K is for the kayak we have under our house here in Florida and have not had time yet this season to use! (We bought it last spring just before we left for Oregon.) HOpefully someday soon. It's actually been a little cooler than usual here -- we want our first trial to be on a hot day!

  42. Awesome shots of the kayaks! I've never gone kayaking before, but it does look like fun. We just bought a canoe last fall that we're looking forward to trying out on the Iowa River as soon as it's warm enough.
