Country road
Many rural fences are at their prettiest this time of year.
Bluebird house
I am linking to Good Fences HERE.

Beautiful images of the snowy place.
ReplyDeleteI love the delicate look of the close up on the wire in the second shot.
ReplyDeleteEspecially with a light dusting of snow.
ReplyDeleteNice in winter colors! The wire of the fence, the snow and the shadows in the first photo makes such a lovely pattern.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteThe old fence, red roof on the barn, snow, birds, iconic!!
Pretty winter and fence scenes! I love the view of the barn and line of fence.. And I am happy to see the bluebird houses..Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI thought my link to Good Fences was good but yours is so much better! :-) Very nice pics!
ReplyDeleteI love that bluebird house, it blends with the fence perfectly.
ReplyDeleteIndeed that is a pretty fence with the wire against the snow.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty indeed right now!
ReplyDeleteThat first image looks like a lovely painting. Beautiful light and shadows.
ReplyDeleteI think I agree with you: winter fencing draws the lines.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever place for a birdhouse … a perfect place to snuggle in from the wintry cold!
ReplyDeleteLovely wintry landscape!
ReplyDeleteVery nice job on the fence photos!
ReplyDeletewhat a pretty country road!
ReplyDeleteI saw a pair of bluebirds here the other day. Wouldn't they look pretty in that snowy landscape. Do they stay in your area during the winter?
ReplyDeleteI love your first photo. Such a nice country scene!
ReplyDeleteso pretty! neat to see the weathered barn with a red roof!
ReplyDeleteVery enjoyable photos. Lovely to see the bird house attached to the second shot.
ReplyDeleteEG, I so would love to travel the roads you travel. You always have some of the best photos.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this fence and especially the birdhouse that's attached and unexpected.
ReplyDeleteSo enjoyed my visit and visiting from Good Fences.
Have a nice day!
Indeed pretty! Love that birdhouse :)
ReplyDeletelovely rural scenes
ReplyDeleteOf course I love that red roof off in the distance! Nice fence within a perfect winter scene, and that bird/wren house is charming. The boys next door built a few of those years ago and stuck them on my fence. They still serve the bird community and the boys are all grown up with families of their own now!
ReplyDeleteI particularly like that first picture. We've just had a sprinkling of snow like the first picture - the first of our winter.
ReplyDeleteLove that little bird house!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that they are really pretty! I love the post with the bluebird house.
ReplyDeleteWonderful captures for the day!! I love the red-roofed barn and the bird house! Such tranquil scenes! Hope you're getting ready for a lovely weekend!! Stay warm and enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteHad all the best elements: snow, field, fence, barn, sky! In answer to the question, it would be 'shared history' . See yesterday's Cranberry Morning post. :-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful images, Tina!
ReplyDeleteThe snow as background really help these beautiful images!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely, wintery and country scene. I love that they included a birdhouse on the fence.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and scenes we don't see here in Florida. I love country roads! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWe've had snow today but I took my fence shots yesterday. The snow really enhances that second shot.
ReplyDeleteWonderful snow scenes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery and the snow is so beautiful covering everything like that.
ReplyDeleteI also like the photos of the kayaks in the previous posts. It looks a very nice place to kayak - but I wonder how warm is really is?
We are actually getting a bit of snow here this afternoon. And you are right - it can make ordinary things look so different.
ReplyDeleteYour my kind of Gal with the winter
ReplyDeletesnows.
I agree with the beauty of rural fences at this time. It has a special atmosphere in winter.
ReplyDeleteVery nice fences! I really like how the red roof of the barn contrasts with the rest of the scenery.
ReplyDeleteThese are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fences. I like how the little bird house is attached in the second photo. Lovely scenes :D)
ReplyDeleteLove the red roof and the idea that a bluebird finds shelter in there!
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is glorious!! And bravo to whoever put out the boxes for the little bluebirds! I would miss my mountains and my church the most.
ReplyDeleteGreat little bird box.
ReplyDeletepeter
I love that first photo. The fences certainly stand out more against the snow right now. It will be nice to see the bluebirds return but it will be a while yet.
ReplyDeletePretty! Here's hoping you get a picture of a bluebird by that fence later this year.
ReplyDelete~
Beautiful snow and the bluebird house on that country fence really brought a smile to my face. I just love that someone would take time to do that!
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty! I love the bluebird house and the snow.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty. That red pop makes that first shot perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove your country fences.
ReplyDeleteThat is very true, snow makes the simplest things look amazing.
ReplyDeleteSnow covered country sides cannot be beat. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteWonderful winter scenes. Makes me want to sing "Winter Wonderland." And I'd do it, too, but when I try, people scream, "Please stop!" while holding their ears!
ReplyDeleteDearest EG; Your captures of winter scene is always magnificent♡♡♡ Lovely country road line and the blue bird house.
ReplyDeleteWe were expecting snow from last night forecast but not(^^;)
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend, xoxo Miyako*
Oh, what beautiful scenes! I like the little bluebird house on the fence post. :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Good Fences,
Lindy
The snow certainly enhances the practical fences. With snow, you and your camera, I think the drabbest scene would be lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat images with that snow. I like the birdhouse at the pole only a bit low for a passing cat.
ReplyDeleteYour countryside is so beautiful
ReplyDeleteI love the one with the birdhouse, and yes, they do show up beautifully in the snow.
ReplyDeleteYour fence shot reminds me of Idaho. The middle part where there are no mountains.
ReplyDeleteI love both pictures. You're right, they do look great with snow :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fine day
