Victorian Home

On a back street in Port Perry

I have photographed this house before - a while ago. But when I saw it again last week I knew it was time to make a new photo of it. Isn't it grand? I would love to have my "office" in the tower. I wonder if you can see Lake Scugog from up there!

In celebration of the old and wonderful "stuff", I  am connecting to Rubbish Tuesday HERE.

  10. Hi EG CG, This is a wonderful old house. I can relate to your desire to have an office in the tower. I would always want to be sitting in the lookout room at the very top. :-) I am so tempted to link some of my old postcard stuff to Rubbish Tuesday. It's just that I can't bring myself to call those old cards "rubbish" ... Am I too persnickety? John

  63. I just love this old home. I can't imagine the heating bill (I grew up in an old house, not quite as dramatic as this one, but there were many in our area. Heating was expensive! Lots of drafts). You took a gorgeous photo. Great light.
