Whitby Harbour Shadows

 Fence shadows

Some inconsiderate person  (Yep, you're right -  it was ME) walked through the pristine snow before she realized the shadows here were really neat. SHEESH!

  18. I don't feel the footprints spoil the picture at all. Neat shadows.

  19. Foot prints on beaches have the same effect - is like 'oh, s**t, I can see my own footprints'

    Nice shot though.

  20. Actually It is my humble opinion that the footprints in the snow enhance the photo. Just saying...

  21. The regular shadow lines are dramatic against the white of the snow, but the smudge of the footprints add some unique art.

  22. Lovely shadows and lines.. The footprints we leave should all be erased so easily... Just takes a new snow or a strong wind! Smiles...Susan

  25. That's funny- but you still captured the shadows nicely! Those mini opportune moments don't last long so you have to take whatever you can and enjoy! As Ida said- it added character!

  27. The sunshine really did bring out the wonderful shadows. I seems to recall seeing other photos you've taken in Whitby by the lake. Lovely.
