We have cows in the next door field at our rural retreat. It is used for agistment so they change all the time. I find some a curious and come up to the fence like in your shot and others are skittish a run as soon as they sight me.
They have such beautiful red hair! I photographed a herd of Limousin cattle last fall. They were not happy because they had just been separated from their babies.
These cattle are just beautiful. Their hides look like velvet. We have a few ranchers in this area who breed Limousins but the most popular French breed of cattle around here is the Charolais.
French redheads, oo la la! They are gorgeous, and funny with the spiky cowlicks. Cows do seem to be very curious, I found that out when I tried to drive into a field of them to pick walnuts and they mobbed my car.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Please leave a comment before you leave so I can visit your blog.
