Railings and Stairs

Frenchman's Bay railing and shadow #1

These photos were taken on March 17, a sunny but cold day. The shadows were dark and clear.

  1. Even with the sun, it looks chilly. Maybe because it is so cold here in NC and I have cold on the brain!

  3. I especially like the third one. I think I'm taken by the weathered wood.

  4. Just when will it be the day to launch the boat or lean over the railing with blue and ice-free water below and warm temps above. It seems as if it's nearly summer in Denver and Dallas - how about back east in Canada and the US? Nice shadows at any rate :)

  20. A very nice series of shots - excellent compositional values (does that sound fotolosopheric?)

    Heh, heh!

Our blue herons are year round birds. In fact, we have Canadian gooses here year round, too. Even when we want them to go up north and poop!
