Kirkfield Waters

 Canal Lake

Yesterday my husband and I were in Kirkfield, a lovely watery place northeast of East Gwillimbury. The water was high but not overflowing.

Creek on the east side of the village

We went to see migrating birds but we saw only a few. I guess most are still south of here but on their way. There was still lots of beautiful nature to enjoy though!

  3. I think I saw all your birds on their way there just the other day. I have never seen so many migrating birds before and they were all flying north.

Even though you didn't see many birds, you got some pretty shots there.

  9. I used to fish for trout when we lived in the west. That stream brought back some nice memories.

  17. Things seem to have warmed up there, the stream is lovely, and the pond with the red-twigged dogwood on the banks. It looks like a great place for a day trip.
