Jackson's Point, Lake Simcoe
Another lovely late afternoon in December and we were out looking for migrating ducks. The only ones we saw were Buffleheads. But there were tons of reflections.
Lovely weather for fishing
I am joining Wednesday Waters HERE.
Duas belas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.
Mr. Jackson must have loved the place too :)
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are wonderful climate!
ReplyDeleteThe weather's going to change, but I can't see that it will be a white Christmas this year! I hope the fishermen caught something.
ReplyDeleteLooks cool and crisp but not as winter like as I expected
ReplyDeleteI am wondering if those fisherman might need a tad bit bigger boat. looks pretty full to me.. a beautiful spot for fishing or snapping...
ReplyDeleteThose ducks better be heading south pretty soon.
ReplyDeletenice!
ReplyDeleteNice to see such sunny skies! It's been dreary and rainy here for over a week.
ReplyDeleteLovely weather to take great pictures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and sunny to shoot out.
ReplyDeleteThis really looks like it was a lovely day !! All bright and quiet !
ReplyDeleteLove the reflections!
ReplyDeleteA pretty lake & very calm which was great for reflections!
ReplyDeleteLovely, still reflections. Looks as if it could be a bit chilly out there on the water going by those jackets the fishermen are wearing.
ReplyDeleteSomehow it doesn't look cold enough for mid-December!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! xx
ReplyDeleteHappy ducks and fishermen, a beautiful day and great captures as always, EG!! I hope your week is going well as the BIG day gets closer and closer!!
ReplyDeleteSlightly warmer attire than we're donning down here.
ReplyDeleteThat's one part of the Lake Simcoe shoreline I've never been to.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there will be any ice fishing this year.
ReplyDeleteAnd no ice fishing!
ReplyDeleteHuh! Weird weather you are having. Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteNothing like that late-afternoon light. Fun shots, but it looks a wee bit cold. In the first shot, I saw the red on the right and thought for a minute it was a British soldier...from a couple hundred years ago. Well, hey, it could have been!
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how relatively warm your winter is this year...so far!
ReplyDeleteOur winter so far has been similar but weather forecast which I am hearing as I type is cooling and may begin to change
ReplyDeleteLovely light and reflections.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene, and great reflections.
ReplyDeletesweet waters
ReplyDeleteI believe I wouold love to walk on the lake shores... preferably in summer! :-)))
ReplyDeletePlaces/photos like these have a calming effect on me. And when I go fishing, it can ease the worst headache, or ease worries better than any medicine.
ReplyDeleteEven when the weather is unsettled and rough, where there are waters there are fishermen. Lovely photos.
