W/Whimsy

Summer cottage (looks kinda wintery) made of gingerbread, icing and candy

What could be more fantastical than a cottage made of sugary goodies  (unless your name is Hansel of Gretel, of course)?  You'd never go hungry. (Is that whimsical or what!!)

Wooden angel

This handmade wooden angel - complete with wooden wings and halo - lives atop a wooden Christmas tree with wooden ornaments. An artist's whimsy.

Genuine Angel?

Could this be the real thing - a Canadian version?

    The gingerbread house is really nice and took some imagination to make it. I like the wooden angel and the 'angel' girl's wings.

    I almost embarrassed to admit this...I have never made a gingerbread house. Never had that desire. But I do like to see them.

    I like the wooden angel...and the real angel...cause yes, I do believe she is a genuine angel.

    I like whimsy! Your gingerbread summer cottage is adorable and surely qualifies ... And I'm sure inwould love every whimsical wooden ornament on that artists tree! The real angel is too sweet! A perfect Christmas memory!

    Awww, I love your little Canadian angel. I'll bet she's exactly that to many. I can't say I've ever seen a summer gingerbread scene before. The icing somehow confuses the point!
