UH-OH! CameraGirl saw me!
Little Red just sneaked up the back of the fence and is now heading down.
Hurry!!
Got it!!
I was waiting for the local red-bellied woodpecker to arrive, trying to entice it with peanuts in the shell. But this little scamp...
YUM! Got any more?
wanted peanuts too...and would not go away no matter how many peanuts it stole and ate!
I am linking to Saturday Critters HERE.
Hello!:)
ReplyDeleteCute little devil, and superb shots!
Enjoy your weekend!:)
Excellent photos Camera Girl.
ReplyDeleteLittle rascals always stick their nose in someone else's business!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish to see one of these cute little animals in our back garden :)
ReplyDeleteNice shots!
The colour of this little guy's tail glows in the first and last photos. What a cutie.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute photo's you made of the cheeky little one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super series. You are so lucky that Little Red did not scoot away before you could get these great shots. I adore the little fellows, but they wreak havoc in my yard. I am changing my feeders one by one to the ones that keep them out and then putting out goodies for them. Hope it works.
ReplyDeleteWhat a Red Squirrel, beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteCute little thief!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Little Red is a cutie! They do love their peanuts. Great shots! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeletehe is too, too cute and I really love the last shot you took!
ReplyDeleteAn amazing sequence!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable. All of the photos. Such cuteness!!!
ReplyDeletehe is a real cutie, or maybe she is a real cutie. they do love peanuts and amaze me at their gymnastics
ReplyDeleteWhenever I see one of these pesky little critters, I think of this poem:
ReplyDeleteLike a small grey
coffee-pot,
sits the squirrel.
He is not
all he should be,
kills by dozens
trees, and eats
his red-brown cousins.
The keeper on the
other hand,
who shot him, is
a Christian, and
loves his enemies,
which shows
the squirrel was not
one of those.

They are so cute. Almost cuter...watching my little Pit Bull lay in front of the slider watching them, so intently. Nothing better in the world to chase, for her. If they would just hang around and play, they'd have a new play mate.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! They love those peanuts don't they ? :)
ReplyDeleteHe'll be your friend for life! Keep the treats coming!
ReplyDeleteyes...same page today but a different kind of squirrels. i like your more detailed eye liner and that redish fluffy tail!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou sound cute and funny! Love the shots
ReplyDeleteLittle Red, big surprise.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
Super squirrel pictures! Love this wee guy!
ReplyDeleteCute squirrel pics!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute squirrel. Our squirrels (except for the Foxtails) don't have such bushy tails and look more like the rodents they are! :)
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteLittle Red is adorable.
Very beautifully photographed!
Have a Happy Weekend!!
Peace :)
What a cutie! How can you not want to give him more peanuts.
ReplyDeleteSquirrels are such unapologetic opportunists.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute devious little rascal!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes!! I have one of these that comes to visit every day and sits on my doorstep -- literally -- to look inside and get my attention and will continue ti sit there until I put out some peanuts!! I think Yogi is right!! Opportunists indeed!! Fun shots for the day though -- maybe they think they should be paid for their photographs!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Photos. Those little guys can wipe out the vittles quickly.
ReplyDeleteCute squirrel!
ReplyDeleteCute little critter, but can also be very annoying.
ReplyDeleteHe is awfully cute for a thief ... They do put on a great show!
ReplyDeleteI love squirells! They're sweet! I greet! :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! The red ones are native here but they are being ousted by the non native grey ones...
ReplyDeleteTree rat! No matter how cute, that's what they are! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOught to survive the winter then. :-)
ReplyDeleteHe's a sweetie, EG!
ReplyDeleteadorable little mite!
ReplyDeleteThey love peanuts almost as well as acorns!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! For some reason, I haven't seen many squirrels this winter.
ReplyDeleteThat is just too funny!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, at least you got some really cute shots to show for the adventure.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a woodpecker but you caught it beautifully. The light is wonderful and your shots do its thick, beautiful fur justice. It is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteHandsome fellow!
