1. Monochrome
Today I am again joining Ashley Sisk's scavenger hunt and this week the prompts are: Monochrome, Complementary, Draw, Mostly White, and Treasure
I pass this barn often even though it's on a back road. I like it's stone foundation and the chicken coop out front.
2. Complementary
Red and green are complementary colours.
3. Draw #1
Hm. I can't draw well but I do like to see what happens when PhotoShop Elements draws.
Draw #2
Draw #3
4. Mostly white
White table and chairs covered in ice a couple of years ago during a horrendous ice storm.
5. Treasure
Time is a treasure, don't you agree?
"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."

ReplyDeleteThese are all wonderful shots.I think my favourite might be the ice covered tables and chairs.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that ice is an old shot. Brrr... Beautiful barn. How fun to see how the drawing turns out on Photoshop. I really need to learn how to use Photoshop.
ReplyDeleteIt's remarkable what ice storms do to outside furniture like that.
ReplyDeleteWonderful barn shot! It looks huge against that moody sky!
ReplyDeleteFantastic set, I love the icy tables!
ReplyDeleteNice collection of photos, especially your last one of the clock tower.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photo of the icicles!!! xx
ReplyDeleteYou did a good job on the hunt as usual, EG!
ReplyDeleteSuper photos...amazing clarity in each one!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely cold and frigid up at your house. Love the barn in monochrome. Unpainted barns really do lend themselves so well to this medium. I also enjoyed seeing what you are doing with Photoshop. I have not tried the drawing with it.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Love Mostly White shot, beautiful.
Have a great day!
Wow, EG....you sure have some great photos. I would love to go through your archives!!! LOL I love that monochrome...and I feel like a recording in that I keep saying 'I love,' but it is true. The 'drawings' are interesting, too. And I like them.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of fun with these challenges, don't you?
ReplyDeleteI thought the monochrome couldn't be topped...then I saw your icy tables. Those two are standouts in a great selection.
ReplyDeleteLove the clock as that is what my father sees every day out of his nursing home window in Peterborough. One of the few perks I suppose since he is wheel chair bound and can only look up.
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the ice!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed all your photographs, especially your monochromatic barn and mostly white cafe.
ReplyDeleteCatching up both fore and aft. Have to comment on the be barn photo though. Excellent. Other good ones here too. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteOUH .. frozen chairs and tables. Never seen like this, though we have a lot snow and frost. It had to be a terribly weather.
